A BaseScan page can confirm fields recorded for an address, but not a team's identity, ownership or promised utility. Those claims require separate, attributable evidence.
Network and contract checks
Token identity is checked against a specific chain and contract address. A matching name, ticker, logo or explorer entry does not by itself establish a project's ownership, purpose or official status.
